Ryder’s first solo exhibition explores the meaning of ‘preserve’ - preservation of nature; preservation of culture and preservation of soul. Inspired by autumnal and marine objets trouves; by the colour, architecture and bustle of Singapore and the exploration of alchemical processes, this exhibition of hand printed textile lengths, scarves and cushions highlights Ryder’s skills in design and hand printing.
